The Quarter

The house is located in the castle’s historical quarter. More precisely, in the street that goes side by side with the castle’ slope.

It’s a quiet and emblematic neighborhood where you can find the trendiest grocery shops and restaurants. D. Ana’s grocery shop is right next to the house and in there you can get all the first necessity items that you need, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables.

The quarter is perfect for having some quiet strolls and you can easily go downtown to see other historical areas like Baixa, Chiado and Bairro Alto. But, if you wish it, there are also public transportations at your service nearby, like the tram, the subway and the bus.

Lisbon is well known by a multiplicity of cultural events that occur on a regular basis: classical music concerts, pop rock concerts, exhibitions, jazz festivals, street cafés by the river with live shows and traditional animation.
